About Carolyn

Carolyn was born and raised in New Orleans where she attended high school at Metairie Park Country Day School. She left New Orleans in 1990 to go to college at The University of the South, Sewanee, a small Episcopal university in Tennessee, where she was a member of the Order of the Gownsmen, the school’s preeminent academic society. She then returned to New Orleans to attend law school at Tulane University School of Law. At Tulane, Carolyn participated in the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic, offering volunteer legal services to citizens facing environmental hazards. She was exposed to the legal profession at an early age thanks to her father, also a lawyer, and knew she wanted to follow in his footsteps, which she has for the past 20 years.

Carolyn’s practice began on the Northshore where she worked with experienced attorneys performing general civil law. She moved her practice to New Orleans in 1999 and worked in insurance defense at some of the city’s larger law firms. In 2010, Carolyn decided to go out on her own and start a solo practice representing individual clients in a number of matters, including family law, successions, real estate, and personal injury.
